Looking back

I find it touching that being 6' 4" tall

your favorite bird was a small songbird,

the black-capped chickadee.

You loved babies and songbirds.

You loved playing with your baby daughter

and then baby granddaughter in your pool.

You introduced me to classical music,

my favorite genre to this day.

As you looked out over your white collar

your gaze, far reaching, was much like this black-capped chickadee.
