Blueberries Coming Into Their Own

How do they turn from lime green

to rose violet, to dark blue?

Is it the star like opening,

which lets in the blessings of blueberry fairies?

Is it the raindrops,

which refresh the blueberry spirit?

All I know

is that they are coming into their own 

as we sip our tea...
